Six Feet Deep

Six Feet Deep is an attempt to subtly reveal the complex and many folded ways how one can relate to the Victoria Baths in their current state. The video footage is taken form a specific angle and shows the movement of individual visitors and guided groups on the two levels of the female pool. The audio trek was recorded whilst following different tour guides and their groups on the gallery. Both audio and video recordings were taken on the open day, 4thJune 2004.

Six Feet Deep was shown as part of the commissioned group exhibition For the Time Being: A Promise of Progress (2004) at Victoria Baths in Manchester.
